Supporting IHT Sarawak from the very beginning reflects the kind of long-term partnership we want to build across the region.”

MALAYSIA, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Robotimize Group announced its support for IHT Sarawak, part of Integra Healthcare Technology and the Integrated Recovery Partner for Malaysia, delivering physician-led, technology-enhanced rehabilitation with strong clinical governance and professional care standards. Robotimize has completed installation, technical commissioning and user training for a suite of advanced physiotherapy technologies at IHT Sarawak, ahead of its opening. IHT Sarawak joins a growing network of IHT Rehab centres across Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor and Penang, with Sarawak among the centres extending the network into East Malaysia. Across its network, IHT Rehab offers rehabilitation spanning a wide range of conditions, from post-stroke recovery and brain injury to orthopaedic, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, elderly care and pain management, delivered through a coordinated, multidisciplinary model built around structured care pathways.

The technologies covered under this phase include SuperTrac, Kinetizer and HotRhythmy, part of the MINATO Medical Science range within the ACE™ strategic partnerships portfolio. Robotic rehabilitation is already one of the core service categories offered across the wider IHT Rehab network, alongside physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation nursing, and the installation at IHT Sarawak extends that same technology-enabled approach to the incoming centre. The team from Robotimize carried out installation, commissioning and calibration for each system, before leading hands-on user training sessions with the incoming clinical team at IHT Sarawak. The training programme was designed to equip therapists and clinicians with the practical skills required to operate each system safely and confidently, so that the technology is ready for full clinical use from the day the centre opens its doors to patients.

For Robotimize, this distinction between installation and readiness is treated as a critical phase of any technology partnership. Advanced rehabilitation technology only creates value once a clinical team is fully equipped and confident to apply it in daily practice, and completing this training ahead of opening is intended to ensure that IHT Sarawak can offer technology-enabled care to patients from its first day of operation, rather than treating the technology as newly installed equipment still being learned on the job.

Extending that same physician-led, technology-enabled model to Sarawak, supported by fully commissioned technology and a trained clinical team from the outset, reflects a broader effort by IHT Rehab to apply a consistent standard of care across its growing network. For Robotimize, ensuring the same level of technical readiness and training at every centre, regardless of location, is part of what it means to be a long-term technology partner rather than a one-time equipment supplier.

This preparation reflects an overarching principle at IHT Rehab: “Guided by empathy, excellence, trust and innovation.” Ensuring clinicians at IHT Sarawak are trained and confident before the centre opens is intended to allow that combination of empathy, physician-led expertise and technology to be in place for patients from the outset, rather than something introduced gradually after launch.

“Installing new technology is only the first step. Real impact comes when clinicians are equipped and confident to apply it every day,” said Even Koh, Group General Manager of Robotimize Group.

The partnership also extends the presence of Robotimize into East Malaysia ahead of the opening of IHT Sarawak. Working with an incoming centre based in Sarawak reflects an ongoing effort to increase accessibility to physician-led, technology-enabled rehabilitation for patients and families, regardless of geography.

Robotimize will continue to support IHT Sarawak with technical and clinical support as the centre moves towards opening, an approach the company applies across its strategic portfolios more broadly. Robotimize Group also continues to expand its network of technology-enabled rehabilitation and recovery partners across Malaysia and the wider region, working alongside institutions that share a commitment to physician-led, evidence-based care. The completion of installation, commissioning and training at IHT Sarawak adds to a growing list of centres across the region working with Robotimize to bring robotics and technology-assisted rehabilitation into practice from day one, rather than introducing it gradually after launch.
